If you're looking for another reason to enjoy the sunshine, Niantic's popular AR creature battler Monster Hunter Now has you covered. The Summer Hunt 2025 event begins on July 21st and runs through August 3rd! We now have fresh details on what you can expect.
First, there's a range of new equipment and weapons to acquire! And they're designed to work together. Obtain the Summer Blaster Heavy Bowgun and pair it with the Super Swimmer 2025 Armor. When equipped, this armor boosts reload speed, reduces recoil, and increases ammo capacity based on how many pieces you're wearing.
The Super Swimmer armor set includes the Swimmer Goggles, Inflatable, and Flippers, which enhance your fire-element attack power—a stat that receives an additional boost during the event. And yes, this bonus stacks with your existing Fire Attack skill.
Wear some layers
If you're mindful of your stats but still want to get into the summer spirit, consider the Summer Fun Layered Equipment to showcase your vacation style. All these items can be obtained through event-exclusive quests, allowing you to forge and upgrade event-specific weapons and gear. Additional quests offer rewards like Exchange Tokens, Medals, and Guild Card backgrounds!
You'll want every advantage, too, because starting July 26th, you can encounter the mighty Namielle in Elder Dragon Interceptions. This is in addition to more content, a paid event, and of course, increased appearances of your favorite monsters to hunt all season long!
