  • Monster Hunter Now is rolling out an exciting Monster Outbreak event
  • Players will encounter massive spawns of a specific monster in designated areas
  • Collaborate with fellow hunters to defeat required numbers and earn special rewards

Monster Hunter Now enthusiasts seeking greater challenges will be thrilled - Niantic's upcoming Monster Outbreak event (running April 26-27) will test even veteran hunters' skills to the maximum.

Currently in beta testing, this feature allows players to experience it firsthand and submit feedback. Monster Outbreaks feature concentrated spawns of a single monster type at specific locations, requiring hunters within range to form coordinated groups for these intense battles.

The goal? Hunt as many as needed to achieve a 100-monster elimination target. Participants can register interest through the sign-up system to earn an exclusive medal, with successful Outbreak completion awarding various monster materials.

The inaugural Outbreak will feature eight-star Black Diablos as the exclusive target monster throughout the event. This new feature not only refreshes the core gameplay but delivers extended challenges for prepared hunters.

Niantic encourages player feedback through official channels to evaluate whether Monster Outbreaks provide the right intensity boost to the game experience.
