NecroDancer Crypt Debuts on Android, Bringing Roguelike Rhythm

Crunchyroll's mobile release of the rhythm-roguelike hit, Crypt of the NecroDancer, is now available on Android! Previously released on PC and with earlier mobile iterations, this Crunchyroll-published version (titled "Crunchyroll: NecroDancer") boasts enhanced features and content.

What's Crypt of the NecroDancer All About?

Players take on the role of Cadence, a treasure hunter's daughter, venturing into a rhythmically challenging crypt to find her missing parent. The roguelike gameplay ensures unique experiences with each playthrough. Fifteen playable characters, each with distinct styles, add replayability. Danny Baranowsky's original soundtrack provides the pulse to the action, demanding players synchronize their movements and attacks to the beat. Failure to maintain rhythm results in immediate demise. Enemies, from dancing skeletons to musically inclined dragons, add to the unique gameplay.

More Than Just a Port

This mobile version isn't just a simple port; it includes remixes, fresh content, and even crossover character skins from the popular anime series Danganronpa. Cross-platform multiplayer and mod support are also included. Further enhancing the experience, DLC featuring Hatsune Miku and the Synchrony expansion is planned for later this year.

Crunchyroll subscribers can download Crypt of the NecroDancer now from the Google Play Store. Stay tuned for more gaming news, including the upcoming Star Trek Lower Decks x Doctor Who crossover!
