PlatinumGames appears to be working on a new online game, judging by a recent job posting. This comes after the studio’s previous online effort with Babylon’s Fall. According to Tech4Gamers, the company is hiring a game designer, and the listing emphasizes a preference for applicants who have “experience in online action game development” and expertise in “level design for online or open-world games.”

⚫︎ Microsoft Gaming CEO Phil Spencer was the one who proposed the collaboration between Team NINJA and PlatinumGames on Ninja Gaiden 4, as revealed by the game's producer.
In a recent Game Watch interview, Team NINJA producer Fumihiko Yasuda shared that though the studio had long wished to create a new Ninja Gaiden game, they couldn't settle on a clear direction. The partnership with PlatinumGames, which is now co-developing the new title, was initiated following Spencer's suggestion.

⚫︎ Ninja Gaiden 4 was officially unveiled during today’s Developer_Direct, marking the series’ first mainline release in 13 years. Scheduled for launch this fall, the upcoming installment is being co-developed by Team NINJA and PlatinumGames. The presentation also included the surprise launch of Ninja Gaiden 2 Black, a remastered edition of the 2008 classic.
