Mark your calendars for March 18, 2025, as this event promises to bring a fresh wave of content to the game, perfectly timed with the release of LE SSERAFIM's new album, "Hot."
Overwatch 2 x LE SSERAFIM Coming This March 18, 2025
Overwatch 2 is thrilled to continue its partnership with LE SSERAFIM, following their successful collaboration in November 2023 for the song "Perfect Night." This time, the event will feature brand-new skins, emotes, and in-game challenges that are sure to delight players. The excitement was officially announced via a trailer on Twitter (X) on March 11, and had been teased during the Overwatch 2 Spotlight on February 12.
Players can look forward to new skins for Mercy, Juno, D.Va, Ashe, and Illari. Additionally, recolored versions of the skins from the 2023 event will be available for purchase, featuring LE SSERAFIM-themed looks for Kiriko, D.Va, Sombra, Tracer, and Brigitte. While the unique Concert Clash mode from the previous event won't return, players will have the opportunity to earn the Legendary Fawksey James Junkrat skin by completing event-specific challenges.
Aimee Denett, Overwatch's Associate Director of Product Management, shared insights with Polygon on March 11 about the upcoming event. "This time around, we wanted to be part of one of the pieces that’s celebrating their new album," Denett stated. She further explained that while there isn't a new song specifically for Overwatch, the team is celebrating K-pop culture with a visualizer for one of the new songs from the album and a range of extensive cosmetics for the collaboration.
The second collaboration between Overwatch 2 and LE SSERAFIM will run from March 18 to March 31, 2025. To kick things off, there will be an Overwatch 2 x LE SSERAFIM Livestream Event on March 17, 2025, at 8:30 PM PST, available on Twitch and YouTube.
