Accessing the Dark Aether Nexus and Initial Pack-a-Punch Location

Unlike previous maps, simply reaching the Pack-a-Punch location isn't enough; you must first open the Doorway to Nowhere. This teleporter leads to the Dark Aether nexus.

Find the Subterranean Temple. Progress through the map, opening doors until you reach it. Locate the altar and interact with it using the Amulet (you'll start with it). The Doorway to Nowhere will activate, granting access to the Dark Aether Nexus.

The Pack-a-Punch machine initially resides within the Dark Aether Nexus, near the center. However, its location changes.

Locating the Pack-a-Punch Machine: Multiple Locations

The Pack-a-Punch has two possible spawning points: the Dark Aether Nexus (its initial location) and the Roman Mausoleum, an ornate ruin atop the Dig Site.

Use your Tac-Map to determine its current location. The main map and the Dark Aether Nexus have separate Tac-Maps. If the Pack-a-Punch icon isn't on one map, it's on the other.

Alternatively, a stone slab with illuminated sections displays the Pack-a-Punch's location. If the symbol is on the main map section, head there. If it's on a separate island, it's in the Dark Aether Nexus.
