Peglin, the addictive Pachinko roguelike, has finally reached its 1.0 release on Android, iOS, and PC! After over a year in early access, the full game is here, and it's a significant upgrade. (Early access players know what we mean!)
What Makes Peglin So Engaging?
Developed and published by Red Nexus Games, Peglin masterfully blends turn-based gameplay, Pachinko mechanics, and roguelike elements. It's a unique mix reminiscent of both Peggle and Slay the Spire.
Choose from four distinct goblin classes: Peglin (the starting class), Balladin, Roundrel, and Spinventor. Unlock the remaining three as you progress through the game. As Peglin, you'll embark on a quest for revenge against dragons who've stolen your gold, battling through charming pixel-art levels using orbs to navigate bouncing pegs.
Before we delve into the 1.0 update, take a look at this trailer:
Peglin 1.0: What's New?
The 1.0 update is substantial! It introduces the final Cruciball levels (17-20), increases mini-boss difficulty, adds extra enemies to regular battles, and throws some nasty surprises into boss encounters. A new forest mini-boss, the Slime Hive, summons waves of Slimedrops.
Other additions include a rare relic, the Crystal Catalyst (boosting Spinfection damage), numerous balance adjustments, and several quality-of-life improvements. For example, Thesaurosus encounters now feature a reshuffled peg board, preventing frustratingly bad layouts.
Peglin 1.0, the complete experience, is available now. Battle through forests, fortresses, dragon lairs, and more! Download it on the Google Play Store.
