Zenless Zone Zero Version 1.5: Leaked Permanent Bangboo Dress-Up Mode and More

New leaks suggest a permanent dress-up mode is coming to Zenless Zone Zero in Version 1.5, launching January 22nd. The anticipated feature centers around a "Bangboo Beauty Contest" event, allowing players to customize outfits for the game's mascot, Eous.

Version 1.4 introduced new S-Rank characters (Hoshimi Miyabi and Asaba Harumasa, the latter being free) and two permanent combat-focused game modes. This upcoming update appears to follow a similar pattern, adding a non-combat, dress-up mode, according to leaker Flying Flame. This mode, initially part of the Bangboo Beauty Contest, will become a permanent fixture after the event concludes. However, event-specific rewards will be time-limited. Rumors suggest the event may also unlock a highly anticipated skin for Nicole Demara.

Further leaks hint at a temporary platformer game mode in Version 1.5. This aligns with HoYoverse's history of incorporating non-combat gameplay into their RPGs (e.g., Honkai: Star Rail's cocktail mixing, Genshin Impact's TCG).

HoYoverse has officially confirmed the arrival of S-Rank characters Astra Yao and Evelyn, a new area, and a new main story chapter in Version 1.5. With the update's imminent release, more details are expected soon.
