The Bug Out event is making a triumphant return to Pokémon Go from March 26th to 30th, featuring a plethora of Bug-type Pokémon and the exciting debut of Sizzlipede and its evolved form, Centiskorch. This event promises a dynamic mix of wild encounters, raids, bonuses, and new challenges that will keep you engaged throughout.
Lure Modules will be key during the Bug Out event, attracting Sizzlipede and increasing the spawn rates at PokéStops when enough Pokémon are caught with a single Lure Module. Additionally, you can earn double XP and receive extra Candy for Nice Throws or better, with an enhanced chance of getting Candy XL for trainers at level 31 and above. Shiny hunters will be thrilled with the improved odds of encountering Shiny Wurmple and Shiny Venipede.
Expect to see a variety of Bug-type Pokémon in the wild, including Caterpie, Weedle, Wurmple, Nincada, Venipede, Dwebble, Joltik, Grubbin, Dewpider, and Nymble. Keep an eye out for the rare Cutiefly as well.
In one-star raids, you'll encounter Sizzlipede alongside Scyther and Nincada, while Beedrill, Scizor, and Kleavor will dominate the three-star raids. Completing event-themed Field Research tasks will grant you Mega Energy, Scatterbug Candy, and encounters with event-exclusive Pokémon.
Don't miss out on the free Timed Research, which includes encounters with Shedinja, Sizzlipede, Kleavor, and more, plus a Lure Module. For those looking for additional rewards, a Paid Timed Research option is available for $2 or its local equivalent, offering encounters with Heracross, Sizzlipede, and Kleavor, as well as two Premium Battle Passes and an extra Lure Module.
New Collection Challenges will be available, rewarding you with Stardust, XP, and Pokémon encounters, while PokéStop Showcases will spotlight event-themed Pokémon. Make sure to visit the in-game shop to pick up the new Sizzlipede Boots and Scolipede Jacket to complete your event look.
