Pokémon GO Adventure Week returns for 2025, running from July 29 at 10:00 AM to August 3 at 8:00 PM. This year's event not only revisits the Rock-type and Fossil Pokémon of previous editions but also introduces several exciting new species. Continue reading to discover all the details.
Who are the debutants?
Attention centers on two Paldean Pokémon that directly reimagine classic Kanto designs. Toedscool makes its in-game debut, along with its evolution Toedscruel. This wandering mushroom presents a distorted reflection of Tentacool.
Evolve it using 50 Toedscool Candy. Meanwhile, Wiglett, the unnervingly elongated eel-like relative of Diglett, also takes center stage. Its Shiny form is now available for the first time.
Adventure Week 2025 has adjusted wild spawns to represent distinct habitats. To catch them all, you'll need to explore various locations. Urban players can encounter Snubbull, Trubbish, Elgyem, and Sizzlipede, with Espurr appearing rarely.
All except Sizzlipede can be found in their Shiny forms. In forested or grassy areas, watch for Skwovet, Smoliv, Figoudh, and Tadbulb, while Toedscool will be an uncommon sight. Mountain zones feature Hippopotas, Drilbur, and Rufflet (each available as Shiny), with Gligar as the less common spawn.
Along coastlines or waterways, the selection includes Inkay, Mareanie, Dewpider, Sandygast, and Wiglett, all of which have potential Shiny variants.
Earn double XP
Capturing Pokémon during the event grants double XP. Activated Incense—excluding Daily Adventure Incense—lasts for two hours. Complete Field Research tasks to obtain Stardust, Rare Candy, and encounters with event-themed Pokémon.
As always, free Timed Research is available, rewarding one Incense, four Rare Candy, and multiple themed encounters. Download the game from the Google Play Store if you haven't already.
