The Pokémon GO Fashion Week event is back, bringing returning costumed Pokémon and a stylish newcomer: Minccino and Cinccino in fashionable attire! This limited-time event offers a chance to catch these chic Pokémon.
Costume Minccino Release Date and Shiny Status
Costume Minccino and Cinccino debuted during Fashion Week 2025, running from January 10th to 19th, 2025. These Pokémon sport stylish rhinestone glasses and adorable bows. While Costume Minccino can be found in its Shiny form, Costume Cinccino cannot.
Alongside the new additions, Fashion Week also features returning costumed Pokémon like Butterfree, Dragonite, Diglett, Blitzle, Kirlia, and Shinx. Furfrou, in its various forms, will also appear in the wild and in Raids.
How to Catch Costume Minccino
Unlike previous events, obtaining Costume Minccino isn't as straightforward. It's available through two methods: Raids and a paid Timed Research.
One-Star Raids
Costume Minccino will appear in easily soloable One-Star Raids. However, One-Star Raids will also feature Costume Shinx and Furfrou, so finding a Minccino raid might require some searching.
Paid Timed Research
Field Research Tasks
While Field Research Tasks will offer encounters with event Pokémon, Niantic hasn't confirmed if Costume Minccino will be among them. It's possible, but not guaranteed.
Obtaining Costume Cinccino
To get Costume Cinccino, you'll need to evolve your Costume Minccino. This requires 50 Minccino candies and a Unova Stone.
