Get ready, Pokémon Go trainers! February's Community Day is bringing a double dose of excitement with Karrablast and Shelmet taking center stage. Mark your calendars for February 9th, 2025, from 2:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. local time – it's time to catch 'em all!
February's Community Day Stars: Karrablast and Shelmet
This Community Day features Karrablast and Shelmet, appearing more frequently in the wild. Keep your eyes peeled for their shiny variants! The real reward, however, lies in their evolutions.
Evolve Karrablast anytime between the event start and February 16th at 10:00 p.m. local time to obtain an Escavalier knowing the powerful Charged Attack, Razor Shell (35 power in Trainer Battles, 55 power in Gyms and Raids). Similarly, evolving Shelmet during this period will grant you an Accelgor with the Charged Attack Energy Ball (a hefty 90 power in all battle types).
A Special Research event will offer encounters with Karrablast and Shelmet featuring special Dual Destiny-themed backgrounds, along with a Premium Battle Pass and Rare Candy XL. And the fun doesn't stop there! A Timed Research event continues for a week after Community Day, unlocking tasks that reward further encounters with these special Pokémon.

This Community Day is packed with incredible bonuses: 3x XP for catching Pokémon, double Candy, and a 2x chance for Trainers level 31 and above to receive Candy XL from catches.
