Platform Availability:
Monster Hunter Wilds will be available on Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation 5, and PC. It will not launch on Nintendo Switch, Xbox One, or PlayStation 4 due to performance limitations. A potential Nintendo Switch 2 release remains unconfirmed.
Pre-Order Bonuses:
Pre-ordering Monster Hunter Wilds before February 28th unlocks the following:
- Hunter Layered Armor Set: Guild Knight
- Talisman: Hope Charm
The Hope Charm's exact function is unannounced, but past games suggest a combat advantage.
Game Editions:
Several editions offer varying bonus content:
Standard Edition ($69.99): Base game and pre-order content. Available digitally and physically on consoles, and digitally on PC.
Deluxe Edition ($89.99): Includes the base game, pre-order content, and additional cosmetic items such as layered armor sets, decorations, gestures, hairstyles, and more. Available digitally on PC and consoles.
Premium Deluxe Edition ($109.99): Contains everything in the Deluxe Edition, plus premium bonus content at launch and additional cosmetic DLC packs releasing in Spring and Summer 2025. Available digitally on PC and consoles.
Japan-Exclusive Collector's Editions:
Two physical Collector's Editions are currently exclusive to Japan:
Collector's Edition ($68): Steelbook, weapon bag, and Seikret plush. Note: Does not include the game itself.
Ultra Collector's Edition ($1,140): Includes the base game, pre-order content, Seikret plush, weapon bag, steelbook, and a Monster Hunter Wilds Secret Folding Bicycle. The bike ships separately around April 2025.
International shipping for these Collector's Editions is not directly supported by Capcom.
Early Reactions:
Pre-release previews have been overwhelmingly positive, praising the streamlined gameplay, improved performance over the beta, and attention to detail. Another open beta is scheduled for February 7-10 and February 14-17.
