Punishing Gray Raven x Devil May Cry 5 Event Overview
Arriving August 6
Kuro Games, developer of Punishing Gray Raven (PGR), has confirmed the global launch date for its anticipated Devil May Cry 5 collaboration. On July 24, PGR’s official Twitter account announced the crossover begins August 6.
First released on the Chinese server May 22, global fans have eagerly awaited the update. Kuro Games previously confirmed the global version would receive the collaboration in a May 7 tweet.
With the official date now set, the developers have shared event details for the "Lamento di Phantasma" collaboration period.
Lamento di Phantasma Event Schedule
Kuro Games announced via Twitter on July 22 that Lamento di Phantasma runs from August 6 through September. Players can experience a new collaborative story and earn Dante as a free character upon completion.
Limited-time banners for Dante and Vergil will be available August 6–September 18. Similar to the Chinese server, pulling these characters will grant an extra copy, with this bonus applicable twice per banner.
Featured 6-star weapons include Devil Sword Dante, Yamato, Cavaliere, and Mirage Blades. Players can also purchase limited shard packs for Dante (Hunter’s Rebellion) and Vergil (Yamato’s Shadow), each containing 30 shards, one 6-star Memory Resonance Material, and 150 6-star Memory Shards. These packs are available once per character.
In addition to the DMC story and character banners, the update introduces multiple events. New SFX Coatings for Ishmael: Parhelion (Ritual of Souls) and Alisa: Echo (Sandy Spectrum) will be available until September 18, alongside returning Coatings for Liv, Karenina, Vera, and Luna.
A version sign-in event will run post-update until September 7, offering exclusive rewards like an Anniversary Portrait, Basic Construct R&D Tickets, and upgrade materials for logging in over 7 days.
Additionally, the Golden Hour 4th Anniversary sign-in event continues until September 8. Logging in for 3 days grants 2500 Event Construct R&D Tickets, the Homeland main interface scene, and the Honor Medal IV anniversary collectible.
The update also brings limited-time game modes, including Trial of Simulacrums, Divine Finality Boss Challenge, Bytebite Invasion, Limited Anniversary Research, Limit Break, and Light in Indigo Waves. These events provide exclusive collaboration items, collectibles, and other valuable in-game rewards.
Months of anticipation from the PGR community culminate August 6 as the Devil May Cry collaboration arrives in Babylonia. Punishing Gray Raven is available on iOS and Android, with the DMC event starting August 6, 2025.
