Rainbow Six Siege X: Atlanta Reveals

Now in its tenth year, Rainbow Six Siege is entering a new era. During today's presentation, Ubisoft introduced Siege X, which is essentially to Siege what CS2 was to CS:GO. This new version promises to redefine the gameplay experience for fans and newcomers alike.

Siege X is set to launch on June 10, and with its release, the game will become free-to-play for all players. This move is expected to attract a broader audience and rejuvenate the player base.

Key Changes in Siege X:

New Mode: Dual Front – A thrilling 6v6 match format that merges attack and defense operators. The objective is to capture enemy zones and plant sabotage devices. The map is thoughtfully divided into multiple areas—three per team and one large neutral zone. Players respawn 30 seconds after death, ensuring continuous action and strategy.

Advanced Rappel System – Players can now use ropes both vertically and horizontally, adding a new layer of tactical depth to the game. This feature allows for more creative and strategic approaches to each match.

Increased Environmental Destruction – The trailer showcased new destructible elements, including fire extinguishers and gas pipes that can be blown up, enhancing the dynamic nature of the gameplay environment.

Reworks for Five Popular Maps – These maps are getting major updates, refreshing the game's landscapes and offering new challenges and opportunities for players.

Graphical & Audio Enhancements – Ubisoft is rolling out a massive visual and sound upgrade, promising a more immersive and realistic experience that will captivate players.

Improved Anti-Cheat & Toxicity Measures – Developers are focusing on refining the anti-cheat system and tackling toxic behavior in the community, ensuring a fair and enjoyable environment for all players.

Ubisoft has also announced a closed beta during the next seven days, accessible to players who watch Siege streams. This provides an exciting opportunity for fans to get a sneak peek and contribute feedback before the full launch.
