In an exciting development announced back in January, Bluepoch Games has unveiled more details about the highly anticipated Reverse: 1999 x Assassin’s Creed crossover, set to introduce Ezio as a playable character. In collaboration with Ubisoft, this event will celebrate two beloved entries from the Assassin’s Creed series: Assassin’s Creed II and Odyssey. A teaser released in January showcased Vertin navigating a rainy street, with the iconic Assassin’s Creed logo glowing ominously in the background, setting the stage for what's to come.
Get Ready to Welcome Ezio from Assassin’s Creed into Reverse: 1999!
The comprehensive plan for this crossover is now available, with the event scheduled to launch on Android, iOS, and PC in August 2025. In addition to featuring Ezio Auditore da Firenze, the collaboration promises a wealth of content to explore.
The crossover event is divided into two distinct phases, each offering unique Assassin’s Creed-themed narratives and events. Phase I transports players to Renaissance Florence, where Vertin and her team will embark on an adventure through 15th-century Italy, deciphering cryptic clues and navigating historical settings.
Phase II shifts the scene to ancient Greece, immersing players in the world of Assassin’s Creed Odyssey. Fans of the game will recognize familiar events as Vertin and her crew find themselves entangled in the ancient Greek narrative.

It’s a Special Crossover
This crossover marks a significant milestone for Reverse: 1999, as it will be the first time all global servers are synchronized, ensuring that players worldwide can access the event content simultaneously.
Reverse: 1999 is a time-traveling RPG that blends modern and retro aesthetics. Players assume the role of Vertin, the Timekeeper, who is immune to a mysterious phenomenon called The Storm. As entire eras vanish following these storms, Vertin, accompanied by her partner Sonetto, journeys through different time periods to rescue other arcanists affected by these temporal shifts.
