With an average of one new 5-star character per update, providing annual reruns for all 43 limited 5-star characters within the 27 available banner slots proves nearly impossible.
While the Chronicled Banner aimed to alleviate this issue, many players consider it a temporary solution rather than a long-term fix. Shenhe's extended wait time of over 600 days before her rerun in Version 5.3 exemplifies this problem. Until the introduction of triple banners, extended waits between character reruns are likely to persist.
