RuneScape Launches Explosive Limited-Time Mode CATALYST

RuneScape is doing something truly out of the ordinary. Introducing CATALYST, the game's inaugural League event, now live until November 10th. It delivers massively accelerated XP rates, a broad catalog of unique tasks, and a host of fresh additions.

A New Game Mode That's Completely Over the Top

The CATALYST League presents a spectrum of tasks, from the ridiculously easy to the punishingly difficult. On one extreme, you might squash a solitary goblin; on the other, you could be facing down a legion of tormented demons.

Completing any challenge earns you League Points, which can be used to unlock powerful special upgrades called Relics. Some, like Farming Frenzy or Golden Footed, are entirely new. Others make a comeback from the Old School RuneScape Leagues archive.

Players who rise to the pinnacle of the CATALYST HiScore leaderboard will secure the prestigious Dragon Trophy. Every participant will also receive a decorative Leagues Trophy for their effort. Furthermore, all League Points earned can be converted into exclusive rewards for the main game once the event concludes.

To mark the launch of CATALYST, RuneScape has introduced a special membership offer. Available for $21.99 from September 15th to 21st, it lasts for the entire event duration.
