Fans of *The Last of Us* have a thrilling April ahead, as HBO has officially announced that Season 2 will premiere on Sunday, April 13 at 9pm ET/PT. Not only will it be available on HBO, but it will also stream on Max. This season is set to consist of seven episodes, and to ramp up the excitement, HBO has unveiled new character posters featuring Joel, Ellie, and Abby.
Taking place five years after the gripping events of the first season, *The Last of Us Season 2* finds Joel and Ellie living in a commune in Montana with Joel’s brother, Tommy. This new season will delve into the narrative of the acclaimed video game, *The Last of Us Part 2*. Fans of the game series will recognize the storyline and the challenges that await the characters.
Joining the familiar faces of Pedro Pascal as Joel and Bella Ramsey as Ellie, Season 2 introduces a fresh cast of characters. The success of the first season of *The Last of Us* was monumental for HBO.
