Midway through the level, you'll encounter a dark room with a wall surrounded by four lit torches. Equip the Twin-Frog Gloves to extinguish these flames, prompting the wall to open and reveal the portal.

Hidden Portal #2: Creamy Canyon

Early in the level, you'll find a snowy arena with a bouncing ladybug. Pass it and reach the pig, grab it after it charges at you, and swing it toward the icy statue at the platform's edge to destroy it. Backtrack, flip the ladybug, and bounce up to the platform. Execute a charged spin attack to enter a room housing the secret portal.

Hidden Portal #3: Go-Go Archipelago

After defeating Captain Pincher, turn around to spot his claw in the ground. A glowing light marks the spot for a charged spin attack. Drill into the ground to unveil a room filled with treasure and the secret portal.

Mid-level, find the house with the flaming chimney. After absorbing water, climb to the roof, extinguish the flames, and descend the chimney to enter a room with the secret portal.

Hidden Portal #7: Hieroglitch Pyramid

At the level's end, turn right to find an area with falling jewels. Use the bounce pad to access a hidden area. Navigate past a trap by finding switches in two walls pushing you back, then proceed to the portal.

Hidden Portal #8: Balloon Breeze

The most complex portal to locate, acquire the puffer-fish power-up and backtrack to an early stage area with a distant platform and a bouncing ladybug. Flip the ladybug, bounce on it, activate the puffer-fish power-up, and hover to the platform.
