When Are Shiny Pokémon Arriving in Pokémon TCG Pocket?
Mark your calendars for March 27th, 2025, when the Shining Revelry expansion launches. The new digital format will make these Shiny cards shimmer when tilted, enhancing your visual experience. Starting April 1st, you can also grab a Shiny Charizard-themed display board and binder to showcase your collection.
Alongside Shiny Pokémon, characters and Trainers from Pokémon Scarlet and Violet will join the fray, including Tatsugiri, Sprigatito, and Iono. From March 28th to April 27th, new ex Starter Deck missions will be available, giving you a chance to earn a deck ticket that can be exchanged for one of nine starter decks.
Shiny Pokémon have a storied history in the Pokémon TCG, first appearing in the Neo Destiny set from the second generation, and later setting the standard for modern Shiny cards with the Hidden Fates set and its massive Shiny Vault.
Ranked Matches Are Finally Coming!

The first season will kick off on March 28th and run until April 27th, featuring cards from the Shining Revelry expansion. You'll be matched with opponents of similar skill levels, ensuring a challenging and fair competition. At the end of the season, you'll earn an emblem based on your final rank to display proudly on your profile.
