The Arc served as Sonos’ flagship soundbar until the introduction of the Arc Ultra, priced at $1,000 and yet to receive any discounts since its debut. This premium 45-inch soundbar boasts eleven meticulously designed internal speakers (three tweeters and eight midwoofers) and supports Dolby Atmos with two dedicated height channels. Pairing it with other Sonos speakers or subwoofers is seamless, thanks to straightforward instructions in the app. Additional features include an ambient light sensor, HDMI eARC, capacitive touch controls, WiFi, and more. The Arc also integrates a built-in microphone for voice command functionality.

While the Arc Ultra bears a striking resemblance to the Arc and shares similar dimensions (it’s slightly wider, shorter, and shallower), its internals have seen substantial upgrades. The Arc Ultra incorporates fourteen speakers, including seven tweeters, six midwoofers, and a brand-new Sound Motion four-motor dual-membrane woofer. This results in richer, clearer bass and improved dialogue clarity. Additionally, it introduces Bluetooth connectivity, a feature missing from the Arc.
