How to Locate the Garbage Journalist Cache in the Maze
To find the Journalist Stash, travel northwest from the Slag Heap towards the car maze. While the maze has multiple entrances, use the main entrance (shown on the map above).
Once inside, proceed to the right until you reach a wrecked bus on its side. Look to your left; you'll see another bus with a blue exterior. Climb onto this bus to locate the stash. Retrieve the Tourist Suit Body Armor from the stash.
Is the Tourist Suit Armor Effective?
The Tourist Suit is a highly effective piece of armor, particularly in the early to mid-game stages of Stalker 2: Heart of Chornobyl. It offers solid protection against thermal, electrical, and chemical hazards. Its key strengths are its superior radiation and physical protection, mitigating significant damage from various sources.
Beyond its defensive capabilities, the Tourist Suit also boosts stamina regeneration by 5%. Given the extensive travel in Stalker 2, this improved stamina regeneration is a significant advantage, allowing for more extended exploration.
While the Tourist Suit is already powerful, its effectiveness can be further enhanced through upgrades. While Lens at Zalissya cannot upgrade it, Diode at the Slag Heap possesses the necessary expertise. He can equip the suit with high-quality modifications to significantly improve its stats.
