The names Nina Williams, Chun-Li, and Mai Shiranui instantly spring to mind when discussing iconic female fighting game characters. While we saw Nina and Chun-Li clash in Street Fighter x Tekken, a rematch isn't on the horizon.
However, Mai Shiranui is joining the fight as a guest character in Street Fighter 6. It's no coincidence that her gameplay trailer features a showdown against Chun-Li.
Her signature moves are all present, her Super looks spectacular, and Mai is poised to be a highly popular addition to Street Fighter 6. Unfortunately, Capcom has announced a February 5th release date for Mai, meaning a three-week wait. Let's hope the Street Fighter 6 team keeps us entertained in the meantime with additional content.
