News

Partner/Indie World Showcase: A Treasure Trove of Games

Nintendo's strategic showcase delivered a wave of announcements. Highlights include several surprise releases (detailed below), Capcom Fighting Collection 2, the Suikoden I & II remasters, Yakuza Kiwami, Tetris Forever, MySims, Worms Armageddon: Anniversary Edition, new installments in the Atelier and Rune Factory series, and much more. We strongly recommend watching the full video for a complete overview.

New Game Highlights

Castlevania Dominus Collection ($24.99)

A fantastic surprise! This third Castlevania compilation features the three Nintendo DS titles: Dawn of Sorrow, Portrait of Ruin, and Order of Ecclesia. It also includes the notoriously difficult arcade game, Haunted Castle, alongside a significantly improved M2 remake. The superb emulation and comprehensive features make this an incredible value.

Pizza Tower ($19.99)

This Wario Land-inspired platformer is a whirlwind of frantic action. Players must navigate five colossal floors of the Pizza Tower to destroy it and save their restaurant. Fans of classic Wario platformers will adore this, but even those without a strong Wario connection should consider this fast-paced platformer. A review is pending.

Goat Simulator 3 ($29.99)

Another surprise release! Goat Simulator 3 delivers the chaotic gameplay fans expect. While performance on the Switch remains to be seen (given challenges on more powerful consoles), the game's inherent absurdity might even enhance the experience. A wild ride, potentially at the cost of your Switch's sanity.

Peglin ($19.99)

A game that strongly resembles Peggle, but with a twist. Peglin blends the familiar Peggle gameplay with turn-based RPG roguelite elements. This mobile hit is now available on Switch, and a review will follow shortly.

Doraemon Dorayaki Shop Story ($20.00)

Kairosoft's signature shop simulation gets a Doraemon makeover. This charming title features characters from the beloved manga and anime series, even including cameos from the creator's other works. A delightful addition to the Kairosoft library.

Pico Park 2 ($8.99)

More Pico Park fun for existing fans! Up to eight players can enjoy local or online multiplayer in this cooperative puzzle game. While not drastically different from the original, it offers more of the same enjoyable cooperative puzzle-solving.

Kamitsubaki City Ensemble ($3.99)

A budget-friendly rhythm game featuring music from Kamitsubaki Studio. Simple yet enjoyable, it offers a solid value for its price.

SokoPenguin ($4.99)

A classic Sokoban-style puzzle game with a penguin twist. One hundred levels await those who enjoy crate-pushing challenges.

Q2 Humanity ($6.80)

Over three hundred quirky physics-based puzzles. Players use their character's abilities and drawing mechanics to solve problems. Local and online multiplayer for up to four players.
