Develop intricate routes through Switzerland and its surrounding nations, expanding your railway network in innovative ways. The expansion also delivers two new characters and four new tokens, making it the perfect holiday gift for Ticket to Ride fans. Marmalade Games designed this expansion to offer fresh challenges and mechanics for both seasoned players and newcomers alike, fostering a more dynamic and engaging gameplay experience.
Country-to-country tickets challenge you to connect specific countries, offering multiple route options and varying point values for successful completion. For example, a France-to-Germany ticket might offer different point totals than a France-to-Italy or France-to-Austria connection. Strategic planning is key, as each country has a limited number of available nodes. City-to-country tickets function similarly, but require connecting a city to a country.
Upon completion of a route, you'll receive points based on the highest-scoring connection for each ticket. Conversely, failing to complete a ticket results in a point deduction equal to the ticket's lowest value.
