Torchlight: Infinite Launches Sandlord With Thea, $250K Event

Author : Nathan Sep 23,2025

- Establish your Cloud Oasis and collect valuable resources

- Challenge yourself in newly expanded territories

- Complete objectives for opportunities to win substantial rewards

A week following its initial teaser, Torchlight: Infinite's newest update has arrived, introducing the Sandlord season to the ARPG. As with every new season, fresh mechanics accompany the launch—now is your chance to construct and grow your domain within the Cloud Oasis to optimize your rewards.

Valuable resources await those who defeat enemies in the Netherrealm. These can then be used to unlock power-ups, establish trade networks, and secure economic advantages across five distinct professions.

Joining the battle is Thea, a corrupted divine channeler who brings her devastating Desecration ability—perfect for players who favor damage-over-time strategies. She certainly reinforces the notion that villainy has its perks (as the saying goes, the Dark Side does come with cookies).

Meanwhile, the Deep Space zone has received a complete overhaul to enhance gameplay. A new reward-boosting item called Probes has been introduced—though be warned, monsters in this area have become more formidable, aggressive, and dangerous. Only the most tactical players will survive these challenging encounters.

This update also delivers fresh Legendary Stages alongside the Sea of Rites area, where you can battle passive Goblins for a chance to summon a hidden boss. Additionally, the timed Sands of Fortune event runs through May 1st, offering new challenges with the potential to win from a $250,000 prize pool.

Ready to dive into this ARPG adventure? Torchlight: Infinite is available as a free-to-play title with optional in-app purchases on both the App Store and Google Play.
