*Arise Crossover* may seem straightforward at first glance—you gather Shadow units and attack enemies who can’t fight back, aiming to strengthen your Shadows until you've exhausted the game's content. However, reaching the endgame can be confusing for many players, who often wonder about progression, leveling up, and which Shadows to use. If you find yourself in this situation, this comprehensive guide is designed to help you navigate through *Arise Crossover* with ease.
How Shadows Work in Arise Crossover
In *Arise Crossover*, each of the three islands hosts several recruitable Shadows and one formidable dungeon Shadow. The Shadows are categorized by types, with **Soondoo** being the weakest unit available right from the start, and **Mifalcon** standing as the strongest, obtainable at Brum Island. However, it's not just about the type; **ranks are crucial**. For instance, a **Rank A Soondoo** is significantly more powerful than a **Rank D Mifalcon**. Higher-ranked units can level up further, with **Rank D units capped at Level 75** and **SS units reaching up to Level 200**. Your ultimate goal would be to assemble a team of four **SS-ranked Mifalcons**, but the journey to get there is where the real fun lies.
Arise Crossover Dungeon Guide
Dungeons in *Arise Crossover* are key to progression. **Dungeon Portals** appear every 30 minutes and remain open for 15 minutes. Even if you enter just before a portal closes, you can still complete the entire dungeon. These portals can spawn at various locations on each island, with random difficulty ranks.
To begin, assemble a team of **Rank D units** and attempt a **Rank D or C dungeon** on Leveling Island. This should help you acquire a solid group of units, possibly including a rare boss Shadow. Remember, **dungeons are your only source for recruiting Rare Units and common units above Rank C**.
Whenever a portal spawns, **go for it**. Even if your team isn't strong enough, wait by the portal for others to join. Many players can solo these dungeons and are often willing to help lower-level players through them. This community spirit is a great way to acquire higher-ranking units. **Recruiting Shadows from dungeons is essential for progression in *Arise Crossover***.
For instance, when we had only **Rank C units**, a kind player helped us through a **Rank A dungeon**, enabling us to recruit **Rank A units** and advance towards the endgame. Later, we returned the favor by helping players with **Rank D units** navigate a **Rank S dungeon**. We encourage you to participate in this helpful cycle.
Arise Crossover Weapons
During the current Beta phase, **player weapons are largely ineffective**. They might offer a minor boost at the game's start, but by the time you reach the second island, their impact diminishes significantly. The **Iron Kando Blade**, the most potent common weapon, costs 60 million and deals 516,1K damage, while your units are capable of dealing 200 to 400 million damage. Unless you're keen on spending, it's wise to save your money until future updates enhance weapon utility.
How to Get a Mount in Arise Crossover
Mounts in *Arise Crossover* spawn every 15 minutes, and only one player per server can attempt to claim each mount. A server-wide message alerts players to a new mount's appearance, though you won't always be notified if someone else claims it or if it disappears.
Mounts can appear in **six different locations**: on the back of the main islands and on smaller side islands between major ones. Consult the developer’s map for exact spawn points.
You cannot claim the same mount more than once, and attempts to capture a mount can fail. **Flying mounts are the rarest**, with a 10% spawn rate, while **ground mounts appear more frequently**. **Water mounts** can be purchased from the Boat Shop NPC.
To obtain a mount, keep an eye out for the server message and race to all six locations. If you miss one, simply wait for the next message. We're still on the hunt for a flying mount ourselves. While mounts aren't necessary for game progression, a flying mount can significantly ease your travels.
