For all the completionists and trophy hunters out there, *Monster Hunter Wilds* offers a thrilling challenge with its hidden achievements. If you're eager to unlock every secret trophy, we've got you covered with a detailed guide on how to achieve them all.
All Hidden and Secret Achievements in Monster Hunter Wilds
In *Monster Hunter Wilds*, you'll find 12 secret achievements. Seven of these are tied to the main story progression, which you'll unlock naturally as you play through the game. The remaining five achievements are linked to optional objectives, which we'll detail below:
I Caught a Shooting Star!
To catch this celestial creature, head to Zone 11 of the Windward Plains at night. Equip yourself with screamer pods and keep an eye out for a Baunos near the gathering spots. Use the screamer pods to stun it, then quickly capture it with your Capture Net.
A Prize Held High
You can achieve this in any map, but Zone 6 of the Scarlet Forest is ideal. Look for a small puddle of water and use your Capture Net to catch the golden crab lurking there. Alma will often comment when you're near a creature carrying the Ancient Wyvern Coin, so listen for her cues.
A Legacy Restored
Once you reach High Rank missions, start crafting Artian gear. To obtain Rarity 8 weapons, you'll need to hunt Tempered monsters while equipped with Rarity 7 gear. This will provide the necessary materials to craft these high-level weapons.
Seasoned Hunter
Don't mix up Tempered monsters with Frenzied ones; the former are marked in purple on the minimap, while the latter are in red. You'll start encountering Tempered monsters from Chapter 4 onwards in High Rank content. Hunt or capture 50 of these to unlock this achievement.
Top of the Food Chain
This achievement requires you to hunt 50 Apex Predators. The monsters that count towards this achievement are Rey, Dau, Uth, Duna, Nu, Udra, and Jin Dahaad. Focus on these specific creatures to reach your goal.
That's how you can unlock all the hidden achievements in *Monster Hunter Wilds*. For more tips and information on the game, including the best gathering set to use, be sure to check out The Escapist.
