The Premise:

One hundred detectives compete in a clandestine contest, solving intricate crimes orchestrated by some of the world's most cunning criminals. The grand prize? A million dollars and a life-altering opportunity. However, a criminal who triumphs also claims the million-dollar reward and parole, regardless of their criminal history. The Best Detective covers Chapters 61-85 of this gripping narrative.

Where the Story Leaves Off:

Following The Invisible Man, detectives Ashdown and Woes successfully navigated Stage Four. Their triumph, however, presents a significant challenge to the Gamemasters, who must now manage their clandestine operations amidst escalating complications. Meanwhile, Haney attempts to expose their scheme, Catscratcher wreaks havoc, and the looming threat of Stage Five adds further intrigue.

Gameplay remains consistent with previous installments: players meticulously examine crime scenes, gather evidence, and answer multiple-choice questions to solve cases. Expect over 25 interactive crime scenes, a compelling storyline, and the signature Methods art style.
