Honkai: Star Rail Version 2.6: Annals of Pinecany's Mappou Age Arrives October 23rd
HoYoverse has unveiled details for Honkai: Star Rail's upcoming version 2.6 update, titled "Annals of Pinecany's Mappou Age," launching October 23rd. This update transports players to Penacony and its vibrant Paperfold University, celebrating its anniversary with a flurry of student activities, club recruitment drives, and academic events.
The Spotlight: Rappa, the New 5-Star Character
The update's star attraction is Rappa, a 5-star Galaxy Ranger who also identifies as a ninja. Her gameplay incorporates ninjutsu, mantras, scrolls, graffiti, and even rap. Her mission? To track down the villainous Evil Ninja Osaru. Rappa's ultimate attack, Sealform Ningu: Demonbane Petalblade, offers a thrilling first-person perspective, allowing players to decimate enemies and significantly reduce their Toughness.

- Sound Hunt Ninjutsu Inscription: Manage a band for the Dreamlight Anniversary music party, collaborating with Rappa for an unforgettable performance.
- Warp Event: Limited-time return of 5-star characters Dan Heng • Imbibitor Lunae, Acheron, and Aventurine during the first and second halves of the update.
Simulated Universe Expansion
Honkai: Star Rail Version 2.6 also significantly expands the Simulated Universe. Following the success of Swarm Disaster and Gold and Gears, the third DLC, "The Unknowable Domain," introduces a massive void connected to post-Second Emperor's War conflicts involving the powerful Scepter system—an advanced external thinking unit. Players will gather Scepters, upgrade them with Components, and utilize strategic synergies to defeat a challenging final boss.
