Today marks an exciting crossover for fans of both Vampire Survivors and Square Enix's SaGa series, as the highly anticipated free DLC, Emerald Diorama, has just been released. This update brings the biggest expansion to Vampire Survivors yet, infusing the game with JRPG vibes inspired by the SaGa universe.
Emerald Diorama Brings JRPG Vibes to Vampire Survivors
The Emerald Diorama DLC introduces a new stage designed like a mini world map, allowing players to experience world-hopping adventures. This update is packed with content, including over a dozen new characters ranging from puppeteers to those who sing cursed songs. Additionally, players can now wield 16+ new weapons and explore the innovative Glimmer system, which lets you randomly acquire new skills during your runs. The game's soundtrack has also been enhanced with nine new music tracks, adding to the immersive experience.
To unlock the Emerald Diorama, players need to visit Moongolow and interact with a new merchant. By purchasing the Emerald Disk for 50,000 gold, you can unlock the content piece by piece. The DLC also introduces character parties, allowing you to form your own mini squad, enhancing the social aspect of gameplay. In addition to the main DLC, two new Adventures have been added. "To End an Ice Age" is available for the base game, while "Tides of the Foscari" extends the content of the new DLC, each featuring six chapters of engaging gameplay.
Alongside the DLC, There’s Another Free Update
Alongside the Emerald Diorama, the base game has received another free update called The Coop, focusing on a chicken-themed adventure. This update introduces a new character, Gazebo the chicken, along with a new weapon and a relic that speeds up the gameplay. Players can also unlock numerous achievements and access Darkana. By collecting 500 lifetime floor chickens, you can unlock the full potential of The Coop update.
A helpful tip for players diving into The Coop: refrain from killing any enemies for the first minute of your run. This will unlock the Gaze of Gaea, and evolving it with Parm Aegis will further unlock Gazebo.
Vampire Survivors, complete with the free DLC Emerald Diorama and the free update The Coop, is now available on the Google Play Store. Players can enjoy cross-platform saves across PC, Xbox, Android, and iOS, ensuring a seamless gaming experience no matter the device.
