Veilguard: DRM-Free, No Preload for PC

BioWare's Michael Gamble announced on Twitter (X) that Dragon Age: The Veilguard will not utilize Denuvo anti-piracy software on PC. This decision, driven by trust in the players, is a welcome change for many who often cite performance issues associated with DRM. The positive response from the community is evident, with players expressing their appreciation and intent to purchase the game.

Gamble also confirmed that the game will not require always-online functionality.

Consoles (PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S) offer fidelity and performance modes targeting 30 and 60 FPS, respectively.
