Android users rejoice! Genshin Impact is finally adding controller support in Version 5.5, arriving March 26th, 2025! This long-awaited feature, already available on iOS since 2021, will allow for smoother gameplay using the DualShock 4, DualSense, Xbox Wireless Controller, and Xbox Elite Wireless Controller Series 2 (all Bluetooth-enabled).
Version 5.5 also brings several quality-of-life improvements. Cross-scene quest tracking lets you seamlessly track quests across areas, teleporting directly to your objective via the map. Boss guides are getting an overhaul for improved clarity, especially beneficial for new players. Further optimizations are planned for the Artifact system, Serenitea Pot, and Mail system; full details will be revealed during the Special Program Announcement on March 14th.
