Warframe: 1999, with its unique Y2K-inspired setting, is set to receive an exciting new update in March known as Techrot Encore. This update, announced during one of Digital Extremes' devstreams, introduces the 60th Warframe, Temple, alongside four new Protoframes, promising a fresh wave of content for players to dive into.

One of the standout features of Techrot Encore is the introduction of the Technocyte Coda to the Lich adversary system. Previously known as the boy band On-Lyne, these characters were prominent in the Alternate Reality Game (ARG) leading up to Warframe: 1999's launch. Now, they've transformed into formidable foes, adding a thrilling twist to the game's narrative and combat dynamics.

To tackle these new challenges, players will have access to four new Scaldra weapons, enhancing their arsenal for both ranged and melee engagements. Additionally, the update brings updates to the Romance & Relationships system, offering more depth to player interactions, along with a new Gyre Deluxe cosmetic skin for those looking to customize their appearance.

ytY2K is real! The turn-of-the-century aesthetic of Warframe: 1999 continues to captivate players, and the transformation of a boy band into cybernetic adversaries adds a quirky yet engaging element to the game's universe.

As the community eagerly awaits the March update, there's no shortage of content to enjoy in the meantime. Starting February 6th, players can participate in the return of the Clan Operation: Belly of the Beast, explore new skins, and engage with Nightwave Vol. 8 for additional rewards.
