Saber Interactive's recent FAQ clarified many player concerns. Approaching its September 9th release, the developer confirmed the absence of DRM software like Denuvo. This decision avoids potential performance issues often associated with DRM, as seen in past controversies.
While foregoing DRM, the PC version will utilize Easy Anti-Cheat to combat cheating. While Easy Anti-Cheat has faced scrutiny in the past, its inclusion aims to maintain a fair playing environment.
The absence of official mod support at launch might disappoint some, but the game will still offer a PvP arena, horde mode, and a comprehensive photo mode.
