Understanding Earth Sprite Spawns
While Fortnite boasts Battle Royale, OG, and Reload modes, the Earth Sprite is exclusive to the new Chapter 6 map in the main Battle Royale mode, including its Zero Build and Ranked variants. It can appear in nearly two dozen locations, each marked by a distinctive lantern (similar to the one pictured above, north of Burd). However, only two Earth Sprites spawn per match, making the search a bit of a treasure hunt.

Giving Weapons to the Earth Sprite
Finding the Earth Sprite is the challenge; interacting with it is simple. Once located, simply hold the interact button while facing the Sprite. This will transfer your currently equipped weapon, completing the Week 1 Quest and rewarding you with 25,000 XP. Remember, you'll lose the weapon you give, but it's replaced with a random Legendary rarity weapon—a worthwhile trade-off for the XP and a powerful new weapon!
