World of Warcraft Classic's Season of Discovery concludes with its seventh and final phase, launching January 28th. This highly anticipated update introduces the Karazhan Crypts dungeon and the challenging Scourge Invasions event.
The culmination of this season arrives on February 6th with the opening of the iconic Naxxramas raid. This legendary raid will offer players a fresh experience with new challenges to conquer.
Phase 7 follows closely on the heels of Phase 6, which saw players battling within Ahn'qiraj. The mysterious Shadowy Figure, observed during Phase 6, remains an enigma, and its potential reappearance in Phase 7 is a point of speculation among players.
This final phase brings more than just Naxxramas. The Karazhan Crypts, a 5-player dungeon located beneath the famed Karazhan tower, will provide a new challenge. Simultaneously, the Scourge Invasions will unleash undead hordes upon Kalimdor and the Eastern Kingdoms, offering new quests and rewards at Light's Hope Chapel. Players can collect Necrotic Runes to purchase unique consumables.
Further enhancing the experience, new runes will become available from Rune Brokers across Azeroth. Naxxramas will also feature an "Empower" difficulty mode, adding an extra layer of complexity for seasoned raiders. Conquering Naxxramas' four wings unlocks access to the Frostwyrm Lair and its final bosses, Sapphiron and Kel'thuzad.
While Season of Discovery draws to a close, the future of World of Warcraft Classic remains bright, with exciting developments planned for 2025. The long-term vision for seasonal realms is yet to be revealed by Blizzard.
