Rinascita offers a wealth of discoveries, including intricate puzzles like Morph Paintings. These paintings are integral to two puzzle types: Overflowing Palettes and restoration tasks.
Morph Painting restoration puzzles are straightforward and rewarding, providing valuable resources such as Astrites. This guide details their mechanics, locations, and solutions.
Restoring Morph Paintings in Wuthering Waves
Restoration involves placing the correct paintings on designated pedestals. Examine the pedestal descriptions, locate the matching portrait, and use the Levitator utility to position it. The game usually automatically equips the Levitator, but you can manually select it using Tab/D-Pad Left if necessary.
Currently, two such puzzles exist, integrated into the "Shadow of the Towers: Resounding Rise" and "Trials of Old" quests.
Shadow of the Towers: Resounding Rise Morph Painting Puzzle
This puzzle, within the "Shadows of the Past" questline, is located in Resounding Rise, one of the three Thorncrown - Thessaleo Falls towers. Solve it as follows (using the central painting as a reference):
- Interchange the front-left and back-right paintings.
- Move the painting behind the left pedestals to the back-left pedestal.
- Move the painting behind the right-side chairs to the front-right pedestal.
Completing the puzzle reveals a chest, allowing quest progression.
Trials of Old Morph Painting Puzzle
This puzzle appears in the "Trial of Wisdom" within the "Trials of Old" quest, near Porto-Veno Castle in eastern Thessaleo Fells. Arrange the paintings on the pedestals to create a narrative sequence from left to right. The solution is depicted in the image above.
A simple way to verify correct placement is to check if the painting frame illuminates upon insertion. This shortcut bypasses the puzzle's core mechanic.
