As you delve into the enchanting world of Thorncrown Rises in Wuthering Waves, you'll encounter Botim, who stands south of the Rinascita-Ragunna-Thessaleo Fells northern Resonance Beacon. He'll share his ancestral responsibility to manage a historic site, where a mysterious "Terminal" still resides.
Botim will also reveal the troubling presence of shadowy monsters within the towers, which wreak havoc before mysteriously vanishing. He offers enticing rewards for those brave enough to tackle this challenge, kicking off the Shadow of the Past Quest in Wuthering Waves.
Thorncrown Rises Three Towers Locations In Wuthering Waves
In Thorncrown Rises, you'll need to locate three towers, each contributing to the completion of the Shadow of the Past Quest, which is divided into three sub-Quests:
- Shadow of the Towers: Resounding Rise: The northeastern Tower of Thorncrown Rises.
- Shadow of the Towers: Twilight Rise: The southern Tower of Thorncrown Rises.
- Shadow of the Towers: Command Rise: The southwestern Tower of Thorncrown Rises.
Shadow of the Towers: Resounding Rise
The Resounding Rise Tower is nestled in the northeastern part of Thorncrown Rises. To embark on the Shadow of the Towers: Resounding Rise sub-Quest, engage with Itzel, who awaits you east of the Tower. Your journey inside involves the following steps:
- Interact with the painting at the hallway's end to enter it.
- Follow the Quest marker to track down the Abyssal Mercator.
- Vanquish it and then secure the northern Basic Supply chest in Wuthering Waves.
- Venture to the western room to claim another Supply chest.
- Head to the eastern room and step into the second painting.
- Confront the Abyssal Mercator once more.
- Clear the enemies in both the eastern and western rooms to collect the Supply chests.
- Proceed north and pursue the Abyssal Mercator according to the Quest marker.
- Defeat it yet again.
- Interact with the painting behind it to continue the pursuit.
- Unlock the chest at the hallway's end to halt the shooting enemies.
- Battle the Wuthering Waves enemy obstructing your path.
To complete the Shadow of the Towers: Resounding Rise sub-Quest, you'll need to arrange the paintings in the correct order:
- Move the painting from the top left to the bottom right display.
- Retrieve the painting hidden behind the top left display.
- Place it on the bottom left display.
- Shift the top right painting to the top left display.
- Grab the painting concealed behind the bottom right display.
- Position it on the top right display.
- Open the Premium Supply chest.
Finally, interact with the painting for one last showdown with the Abyssal Mercator, then speak with Itzel to claim the Tidal Supply chest. Upon its defeat, one barrier at the Command Rise Tower will weaken.
Shadow of the Towers: Twilight Rise
After leaving the Resounding Rise Tower, journey southeast to the Twilight Rise Tower and converse with Insula to gain entry. Inside, follow the Quest marker until you find yourself trapped in a loop, at which point Insula reappears. Then, take these actions:
- Investigate the three marked spots for clues.
- Converse with Insula.
- Discover the secret passage beneath the elevator.
- Overcome the Abyssal Patricius.
- Secure the Supply chest and continue your pursuit.
- Confront the Abyssal Patricius for the final time.
- Speak with Insula again.
- Collect the Tidal Supply chest in Wuthering Waves.
Completing these steps will finish the Shadow of the Towers: Twilight Rise Quest and weaken the second barrier at the Command Rise Tower.
Shadow of the Towers: Command Rise
Upon completing the initial segments of the Shadow of the Past Quest, the Shadow of the Past: Command Rise Tower sub-Quest in Wuthering Waves will automatically begin. Here's what you need to do:
- Travel to the camp northeast of the Command Rise Tower and meet Insula and Itzel.
- Use the Wingray northwest of the beach to soar towards the Command Rise Tower.
- Enter the Tower.
- Follow the Quest marker deeper into the Command Rise Tower.
- Collect the Supply chest west of the moving libraries.
- Utilize the Grapple to ascend.
- Claim the Basic Supply chest between the jars, then defeat the enemies on the opposite side of the balcony to obtain another Supply chest.
- Proceed to the Quest marker to battle the Abyssal Patricius.
- Secure the chest, then use the Grapple to climb higher.
As you ascend, make sure to explore thoroughly, as the Command Rise Tower is filled with numerous Supply chests across its various levels. You'll also encounter two Sonance Caskets: Ragunna within the Tower.
Utilize the chandelier's mechanics to reach the tower's summit. Upon arrival, you'll discover Liel deceased. Converse with Insula and Itzel, then use the portal behind them to confront the Abyssal Patricius in Wuthering Waves. Defeat it to obtain the Call of the Abyss Rectifier and a Premium Supply chest.
Exiting the Command Rise Tower via the portal and engaging with your two companions will grant you the King of Thessaleo Achievement and the Shadow of the Tower Achievement in Wuthering Waves.
