Xbox Blockbuster Rumored to Jump to Switch, PS5 [30 characters]

Rumors suggest that Halo: The Master Chief Collection and Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024 are headed to PS5 and Nintendo Switch 2 in 2025. This follows Microsoft's recent push to bring first-party titles to other consoles, a strategy initiated in February 2024 with games like Pentiment, Hi-Fi Rush, Grounded, and Sea of Thieves. As Dusk Falls and Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 also broadened their availability, with Indiana Jones and the Great Circle slated for a PS5 release in Spring 2025.

Industry insider NateTheHate claims to have heard about the Halo: Master Chief Collection ports to PS5 and Switch 2, targeting a 2025 release. He also predicts a similar multi-platform release for Microsoft Flight Simulator, likely referring to the recently launched MFS 2024.

This aligns with another insider, Jez Corden, who tweeted that significantly more Xbox games will be released on PS5 and Switch 2 in 2025, suggesting an end to the era of exclusive Xbox titles. The ten-year agreement to bring Call of Duty to Nintendo consoles, announced in late 2022, further supports this trend, though Switch releases may be pending the arrival of the more powerful Switch 2.
