Xbox Game Pass Welcomes New Titles in Early January 2025
Microsoft has unveiled its first Xbox Game Pass lineup for 2025, confirming several anticipated additions and departures. The announcement, made on January 7th, 2025, via the official Xbox blog, reveals a diverse range of games joining the service throughout the month.
New Games Arriving in January 2025:
Several titles are already available, with more arriving later in the month. Road 96, a choice-driven adventure game, is available now across all Game Pass tiers (including PC). Other notable additions include:
- January 7: Road 96
- January 8: Lightyear Frontier (Preview), My Time at Sandrock, Robin Hood – Sherwood Builders, Rolling Hills
- January 14: UFC 5 (Game Pass Ultimate only), Diablo (Game Pass Ultimate and PC Game Pass only)
The inclusion of Diablo and UFC 5, previously rumored, is confirmed, though access is limited to specific tiers. Diablo is exclusive to Game Pass Ultimate and PC Game Pass subscribers, while UFC 5 is a Game Pass Ultimate exclusive. The remaining titles are accessible with a standard subscription.
Game Pass Ultimate Perks:
Alongside the new games, several Game Pass Ultimate perks are also available starting January 7th, including weapon charms for Apex Legends and DLC packs for First Descendant, Vigor, and Metaball.
Departing Games:
As new games arrive, others depart. Six titles will leave Xbox Game Pass on January 15th:
- Common'hood
- Escape Academy
- Exoprimal
- Figment
- Insurgency Sandstorm
- Those Who Remain
