miHoYo, the studio behind the immensely popular Genshin Impact, continues its PlayStation triumph with the new action RPG, Zenless Zone Zero. The game has quickly established itself among the platform's most played titles.
ZZZ Cracks the PS5 Top 10
Zenless Zone Zero, a free-to-play live-service action RPG, has significantly impacted the PlayStation market. Following its multi-platform launch, the game secured a top 10 position in Circana's "US Player Engagement Tracker Top 10 Titles" report, ranking alongside established hits like Elden Ring and Minecraft. The ranking is based on weekly user engagement, excluding playtime data.
Launched on July 4th, ZZZ swiftly climbed the charts, reaching the #12 spot in the PS5's top 40 most-played games during its first week. Further success was seen on mobile, generating nearly $52 million in gross player spending ($36.4 million net) within its first 11 days, peaking at $7.4 million on July 5th.
