A Free SVG Painting App: PainterSVG
PainterSVG is a free, W3C-standard SVG (Scalable Vector Graphics) editor. Unlike bitmap images, SVG uses shapes, not pixels, ensuring no loss of detail when scaling. This application offers a range of powerful features for creating and editing vector graphics:
- Shape Creation & Editing: Easily create and modify lines, circles, rectangles, and more.
- Path Editing: Design paths using straight lines, cubic Bézier curves, and quadratic Bézier curves. Intuitive drag-and-drop controls for stop and control points allow for precise path adjustments.
- Styling: Effortlessly define stroke and fill properties for all shapes and paths. Choose from single colors, linear gradients, or radial gradients.
- Element Manipulation: Select, deselect, move, resize, and rotate elements with ease.
- Zoom: Zoom in and out for detailed work.
- Grouping: Group and ungroup elements for efficient organization.
- File Handling: Import and export SVG files, and export as PNG (transparent background) or JPG (white background).
