Stenciletto is a progressively challenging game designed to enhance visual and spatial reasoning skills. Using simple geometric shapes, it provides cognitive exercises suitable for children and adults alike. The core mechanic involves arranging geometric stencils in the correct sequence to replicate a given pattern. Inspired by Grace Arthur's early 20th-century Stencil Design IQ Test, Stenciletto recognizes the crucial role of non-verbal skills in intelligence. Arthur's original test successfully assessed the IQ of children from diverse backgrounds, highlighting the game's potential for unbiased cognitive evaluation.
Game Features:
Stenciletto offers two game types: Classic Games, featuring common geometric shapes (squares, circles, triangles, etc.), and World Games, designed for more advanced players seeking a greater challenge. The game boasts over 600 progressively difficult puzzles, with 60 free puzzles available to try. Each paid game comprises 15 puzzles, rewarding players with animated Smiley characters—historical and mythological figures representing diverse cultures—upon completion.
Three distinct game modes cater to different preferences:
- Mortal Mode: A timed, scored mode with leaderboards; players either purchase lives or wait for regeneration.
- Immortal Mode: Unlimited lives; players replenish their life bank as needed. Timed and scored with leaderboards.
- Mindful Mode: Untimed and unscored, allowing for relaxed, unhurried gameplay.
Education Mode unlocks both Immortal and Mindful Modes, offering flexibility for educational settings.
