Application Description

Travel back in time to rule the world 1,000 years in advance!

When an army travels back in time to rule the world 1,000 years in advance, they get more than they bargained for from their primitive counterparts! Lead the resistance with hundreds of warriors from different cultures all over the world. Focus on one individual or step back to command an entire army at your fingertips. Combining world-dominating strategy with fully interactive battles, this game offers the best of both worlds! And just when you think it's over, history might just repeat itself...

UPGRADES

The game is mostly free to play, but you can enhance your experience by upgrading. Choose which side and how much territory to start with. You can also enjoy fantasy battles between any two cultures - and as many warriors as your device can handle! For added personalization, you can edit every character in the world - though please note that the game uses up to 1,000 characters that are regularly replaced.

CONTROLS

When controlling a specific character, choose between the "Classic" one-handed control system or "Dual Wield," where each hand is controlled separately. If these controls are new to you, pause the action at any time by pressing the dateline and refer to the "Controls" guide. Keep an eye out for in-game hints from scrolls or books that you can read.

In this game, you can switch the character you're controlling at any time by tapping their health meter or pointing to them on the battlefield. Use the arrows at the bottom of the screen to enter "Commander" mode, where you can direct any active team member by swiping from their location to another. Whether you want them to relocate, fight an enemy, or pick up an object, they'll follow your instructions as best they can, though they may have other priorities.

Regardless of the device or control method you use, you can always zoom in or out by pinching the center of the screen.

MAP

In the main "Campaign" game mode, expand your territory by moving units from one area to any connected one. You can either "fortify" an existing territory or attempt to seize a rival one. Remember, only 50% of the units in a territory are available to travel, making invasions more challenging than defense.

The population of any inhabited territory may grow after each round, so controlling as many territories as possible is crucial. Units will also gradually heal over time, so it's beneficial to work with different locations each turn.

PERFORMANCE

This is my largest scale game to date and may require a high-end device to run smoothly at 100%. To improve performance, consider keeping the "Population" setting low to reduce the number of characters on screen, or adjust other features in the "Display" options.

There's more to this game than I can explain here, so I hope you enjoy discovering its intricacies for yourself!
