The game of the goose is a board game for two or more players. Players take turns rolling dice to move their pieces around a snail-shaped board featuring 63 (or more) illustrated squares. Landing on different squares results in either advancement, setbacks, rewards, or penalties.
Each player's turn involves rolling one or two dice (depending on the version), determining the number of squares they move. The first player to reach square 63, "the garden of the goose," is declared the winner.
