The journey of "Daredevil: Born Again" from script to screen involved numerous revisions, but one episode remained unchanged: Episode 5, which star Charlie Cox ironically considers his least favorite of the season.
"Not sure if this is noteworthy, but among all the changes, we left one episode untouched," Cox shared in a recent interview with The Playlist.
"It's the bank heist episode—filmed before the strike as part of the original shoot. Personally, it wasn’t my cup of tea."
Cox admitted he "resisted it as much as I could." The episode centers on Matt Murdock (aka Daredevil) getting entangled in a bank robbery while securing a loan for his law firm with partners Foggy Nelson (Elden Henson) and Karen Page (Deborah Ann Woll).
"It felt like a dated '70s trope," Cox remarked. "The plot relied on outdated tech, and the heist mechanics lacked sophistication."

Despite his reservations, Cox acknowledged the episode's unexpected popularity among fans.
"I fought against it, yet many viewers loved it," he said. "It proves how subjective storytelling is. Internally, it's among Disney+'s highest-rated shows."
