Domination Mode and New Units
The core gameplay shifts with the introduction of the Domination mode. Victory hinges on controlling key global research facilities to earn Victory Points, creating intense competition amongst up to 100 players. Season 16 also introduces the Mountain Infantry, a superior Motorized Infantry unit perfectly adapted to the harsh terrain. These units excel in mountainous and tundra regions, boasting increased speed and survivability. The Elite Frigate also makes a return for players who missed it previously.
Limited-Time Missions and Loadouts
Players can take advantage of limited-time missions providing extra resources and objectives to accelerate their nation's dominance. A new Loadout system allows for temporary gear enhancements, adding a strategic layer to army customization. Coalitions of up to three players can be formed in the Nuclear Winter: Domination scenario – a crucial element for survival in this unforgiving landscape.
