Elden Ring Gamer Beats Final Boss With Wraith Calling Bell

Author : Aria Jan 02,2026

FromSoftware games are known for their unconventional weapons and armor. Compared to players who wear jars on their heads or wield bubble blowers, the Wraith Calling Bell doesn't seem all that strange. Still, it's captivating to watch someone defeat Elden Ring Nightreign's main antagonist using just this bell.

YouTuber Syrobe recently posted a solo Recluse run in which they defeated Nightreign's final boss, Heolstor, using only the Wraith Calling Bell. The run is impressive to watch and also showcases some interesting techniques currently being explored in Elden Ring Nightreign.

Throughout the run, you can observe Syrobe ringing the bell and directing the small spectral apparitions toward enemies. The Wraith Calling Bell isn't an intimidating weapon—it's a small bell that, when rung, releases a faint wraith that damages foes. Using it to tackle bosses instead of Elden Ring's more established weapons might initially seem like a challenge.

Syrobe's success is largely due to their patience, skill, and excellent gameplay. However, certain techniques also contributed—such as the movement trick demonstrated at the start of the video, which allows players to cast spells (or ring the bell) while staying mobile. It's a useful technique for magic-focused builds that’s worth trying out.

Beyond that, Syrobe focused on optimizing their run by enhancing essential stats. This included securing reliable FP recovery, collecting useful upgrades and items, and planning a route suited for a solo victory—which this certainly was.

Interestingly, Syrobe isn't the only one experimenting with the Wraith Calling Bell. Other content creators have also been testing its potential, posting their own successful boss clears. This has sparked discussions on community forums about whether the item might need balancing from FromSoftware.

"It's a reasonable early-game option for players focusing on casting," one user on r/Nightreign noted. "It’s hardly more overpowered early on than having a weapon with bleed that shreds church and keep bosses in a few hits."

Others pointed out that the bell isn’t necessarily broken—it simply provides a helpful boost for caster builds in the early stages when better tools are scarce. Whether the bell requires adjustments, its impact on Elden Ring Nightreign over recent days is undeniable.
